Hippo crates rightly said let thy food be thy medicine and let thy medicine be thy food. Importance of food in maintaining good health cant be denied. Several advanced dietary research studies have shown that different types of pro bio-tic elements, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and micro-nutrients help us ward off several health issues. Various types of fruits and vegetable juices have magical treatment capabilities. Especially, seasonal fruits and vegetables have great ability to increase our vital immunity (jeevani shakti). Juices help us flush clean our blood and lymphatic systems.

Selecting food items for Juice treatment: Always use only fresh fruits, vegetables or sprouted grains. Any usage of rotten, stale or cut food items kept for long time may result in infections as there is rapid micro-organism activity in these items.

Wonders of Juices: Almost for all types of disease juices can be used as they give a lot of mental and physical energy. It is advisable to have only one type of juice at a time and use only seasonal (less expensive) fresh fruits and vegetables. keep 2.5 to 3 hrs gap between two juice intakes. One may add banana, Fig (Anjeer), dates, resins, and other sweet fruits to sprouts and juices.

Juice diet plans for common diseases and disorders:

Indigestion: It is the source of a lot of disorders. It is advisable to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. Juice of carrot, spinach, tomato, amla, bottle guard (lauki), cucumber, fig (anjeer), wheat grass, bitter guard, papaya, orange, peach or apple can be taken in this condition.

Dehydration: Carrot soup or juice, Lemon drink (add one lemon,5 gm salt, 3 table spoon honey to one glass water and mix well), Juice of orange, sweet lime, water mellon, coconut water or cucumber, and Rice starch.

Colitis: Curd, or Juice of carrot, cabbage, cucumber, apple, beet root, orange, banana, or papaya.

Acidity: cabbage and carrot juice, or juice of cucumber, bottle guard (lauki), apple, sweet lime, water mellon, pumpkin, banana, potato or papaya.

Ulcer: Equal amount of cold water and cabbage juice, cold milk, or juice of laud or carrot.
Lose motions: Butter milk + isabgol, juice of bottle guard (lauki), cucumber and carrot mixed with isabgol.

Jaundice: Juice of banana, orange, sweet lime, sugar cane, pineapple, papaya, tender turmeric, honey, radish leaves, radish, or spinach.

Diabetes: Juice of jambul (jamun), tomato, bitter guard, neem leaves, cucumber, bottle guard (lauki), carrot, spinach, or cauliflower. 


Lever disorders: Juice of water mellon, mulberry, bitter guard, cucumber, bottle guard (lauki), beet root, carrot, pineapple, grapes or other sour fruits. Also, one may take tamarind (imli), tomato (without seeds) or coconut water.

Stones (pathri): juice of apple. radish or spinach leaves, carrot, tamarind, or tomato. It is also advisable to have coconut water or tomato soup. One should avoid small seeds of any vegetables or fruits.

Cough (Khasi): Drink hot water with few drops of honey and lime juice. Another effective mix is prepared by adding extracts of ginger, garlic, onion, holy basil to honey.

Throat disorders: Drink hot water with few drops of honey and lime juice. Other juice combinations helpful in this condition are carrot + beet root + spinach, Guava + onion + garlic, pineapple, orange or sweet lime. It is advisable to have little warm juice but remember not to heat the juice directly whereas dip the juice in hot water to heat it indirectly.

Skin diseases: Juice of carrot + spinach + tomato, potato, cucumber, neem leaves, beet root, water melon, guava, apple, orange or sweet lime. 

Fever: Pomegranate, orange, sweet lime, grapes, soaked resins. Garlic juice, onion juice, lemon juice and honey with hot water. 

Pneumonia: ginger, tender turmeric and honey mixed with hot water, steamed sweet lime juice, or Juice of orange, holy basil, carrot + tomato.

Insomnia: Juice of sweet fruits like apple, guava, mango, banana, grapes, etc. Juice of bottle guard (lauki), potato, spinach + carrot, salad leaves, onion. 

Migraine: lime water, juice of ginger, salad leaves with sweet fruit juices. 

Acne: spinach + carrot, potato + carrot, grapes + beet root, spinach + tomato or cucumber juice.

Eye diseases: Juice of papaya, carrot, tomato, spinach, radish leaves, mango, Indian gooseberry (amla), orange or shaljam.

Typhoid: Juice of pomegranate, orange, soaked figs, resins, onion, garlic or coconut water. 

Influenza: onion, garlic and lime juice mixed with hot water is helpful in influenza. Juice of carrot, orange or sweet lime.

Anemia: Juice of Spinach and other leafy vegetables, tomato, Indian gooseberry (alma), beet root, wheat grass, cabbage, bitter guard, grapes, resins soaked in water/milk, or munnaka.

Heart diseases: Juice of pomegranate, pineapple, indian gooseberry (alma), onion, garlic, orange, mulberry or sweet lime. Coconut water, and honey and lime mixed with water are also helpful in heart diseases. 

Pregnancy: Juice of leafy vegetables such as spinach. Juice of carrot, tomato, apple, cucumber, grapes, custard apple or beet root. 

Mouth Ulcers: Juice of chaulai, cabbage, spinach, tomato, cucumber or carrot.

Internal bleeding: Juice of apple, lemon, indian gooseberry (amla), nashpati or orange.

Infertility: Juice of carrot, spinach, apple or tomato, and sprouted wheat. 

Weight loss: Juice of low calorie fruits and vegetables such as watermelon, cucumber, spinach, bottle guard (lauki), pumpkin, tomato, tender papaya, or cucumber.

Weight gain: Fruit Juice of high calorie sweet fruits such as pineapple, papaya, banana, orange, mango etc.

Hypertension or high blood pressure: Butter milk made from cow's milk, soybean curd, and Juice of onion, cucumber, tomato, orange, bottle gourd (lauki), carrot or sweet lime.

Cancer: Wheat grass juice, Juice of holy basil (Tulsi) leaves, wheat or gram sprouts. Juices of sour fruits such as grapes, fig, cabbage, potato, resins, pineapple, orange, sweet lime, tender turmeric, papaya and Indian gooseberry (amla). Soup of tomato and cabbage with raw garlic.
